Financial Aid
The following information has been prepared to provide a better understanding
of the Student Financial Aid Programs at Trinidad State Junior College.
The purpose of Financial Aid is to assist those eligible students who,
without such aid, would be unable to pursue their educational goals. the
primary responsibilty to meet college costs lies with the student and
the student's family, with financial aid from the college being a supplementary
source of funding. The amount of need-based Financial Aid offered to a
student cannot exceed the student's documented financial need. A student's
financial need is determined through a uniform need analysis of the student's
and/or family income, assets, etc. in comparison with the anticipated
costs of the student's education. Financial Aid records are classified
as confidential and are treated accordingly.
