Student Welcome

Dear Fellow Students or Future Students,

Student LeadershipTrinidad State Junior College Valley Campus would like to welcome new and returning students. TSJC is a two-year community college proud to help individuals achieve their goals and overcome obstacles that may not even pertain to class. The college offers a variety of associates degree programs, short-term vocational certificate programs, job placement, and many other clubs and programs.

This is Student Leadership Council. SLC is funded through the student activity fees. The purpose of SLC is that we represent the student body, plan student activities, and make executive decisions about requested funds from school programs. “We are the foundation that supports the student body.” Anyone is welcome to come and share ideas, thoughts, visions, and more. We are open for any suggestions, but only the Executive officers and Senators can vote. We meet at noon every first and third Wednesday of the month (during the fall and spring semesters) in the SLC office in the Student Center at the corner of Fourth and Alamosa.

Presently, the TSJC Valley Campus Student Leadership Council consist of:
Advisor- Genia Rasmussen
President- Shelly Rodman
Vice President- Jessica Clark
Public Relations Coordinator- Ty Orton
Secretary- Skyler Pottberg
And several student representatives from programs such as aquaculture, nursing, massage therapy, and Phi Beta Lambda.

TSJC Valley CampusOur administrators and faculty love to see new faces and help you accomplish your dreams. TSJC is the place for everyone, young, old, handicapped, or not, and any race coming from any background or culture. The professors and staff give one-on-one time to students in any way they are capable, therefore creating stronger outcomes. The word is getting out about TSJC valley campus and its rising enrollment proves it. We would love for you to be one of the many people we'll help accomplish goals and dreams. Hope to see you soon!
