Student Loans

Loans are borrowed money that must be repaid, with interest. Trinidad State Junior College (TSJC) participates in the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program, also known as Direct Loans. Eligible students and parents borrow directly from the U.S. Department of Education. Direct Loans include subsidized and unsubsidized Direct Stafford Loans and Direct PLUS Loans.

Payment Assistance

NDSTrinidad State junior College has partnered with Nelnet Diversified Solutions (NDS) to provide assistance should you experience difficulty in repaying your Stafford loans. Responsible Repay is a service that will contact you if you are delinquent on one or more of your student loan payments. It is important that you respond to these calls, letter, e-mails and texts as soon as possible. NDS is not a collection agency – they are here to help you by providing information and counseling on the available options to bring your account current.
