Biology Placement Test
The Biology Placement Test is given in lieu of taking BIO111: General College Biology, or its equivalent. The test covers all of the material in the chapters of the text normally covered in that class, plus pertinent lab concepts.
The Biology Placement Exam is 100 questions, and students will have up to two hours to take the test. Testing is $5 (retakes are not allowed), and students must pay in the Business Office before taking the Exam.
TESTING PROCEDURE
- Talk to your academic advisor to see if you may have the knowledge and skills to pass the Biology Placement Exam to register for Biology 201: Anatomy & Physiology.
- Use the Study Guide and Bio 111 textbook to prepare for the exam. The Textbook can be accessed in the Learning Center (Trinidad Campus) or the Student Success Center (Valley Campus).
- Call the Success Center Staff at your campus to make an appointment to take the Test in the Testing Center.
- Visit the Business Office at your campus and pay $5 for the Exam. Bring your receipt with you to your testing session.
- Take the Biology Placement Test and receive immediate results!
